I love my new shoes.

Wow! Almost a week out of my blog. It's strange that I didn't write here form 6 days, probably because there are not many things to talk about. I'm still on diet, I'm still dealing with ups & downs, just like a russian mountain. Damn, it's horrible to go to see your doctor and one day she tells you "this is your weight" and the next week "Oops! you gained 20 pounds". Obviously, something's wrong here. Anyway, today's song is Sweet home Alabama! I really like this fucking song.
Sweet Home Alabama.

Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Big wheels keep on turning
Carry me home to see my kin
Singing songs about the Southland
I miss Alabamy once again
And I think its a sin, yes

Well I heard mister Young sing about her
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around anyhow

Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you

In Birmingham they love the governor
Now we all did what we could do
Now Watergate does not bother me
Does your conscience bother you?
Tell the truth

Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you
Here I come Alabama

Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they've been known to pick a song or two
Lord they get me off so much
They pick me up when I'm feeling blue
Now how about you?

Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet Home Alabama
Lord, I'm coming home to you

Sweet home Alabama
Oh sweet home baby
Where the skies are so blue
And the governor's true
Sweet Home Alabama
Lordy
Lord, I'm coming home to you
Yea, yea Montgomery's got the answer

There are two pics today, the first one is just me and next one are my new shoes. I loved these shoes. I dunno why, made by Ferrato, I never heard that trademark before... must be a new one... anyway, I adore these shoes

I couldn't sleep. My neighbors had a party and the music was very loud and now I fell awful. This headache is kicking my ass. Yesterday I phoned my grandma in Arizona, she is fine but the weather is terrible she said. It's so hot that the cows are giving evaporated milk and the trees are whistling the dogs. Damn I admire my grandma. Longevity is a plus in my family but if I continue this fat it's more than predictable that I won't be here for a long time ! NOOOO! I do NOT want to die very young and sexy (and almost horny everyday). I still haven't seen Paris. My friend Lisa says I should quit smoking and I know that ain't good for my health. I should try those patches....

Like Amy says: I don't understand why I do stress a man... I'm agree with her. I won't fuck myself in the head with these stupid men. I'm talking bout 'em because yesterday I was chatting with a guy that I met 3 weeks ago or so and I realize how stupid some men can be. I wish I could go on vacations, somewhere.......... like Jamaica or hmmm New Zealand. Sounds cool.

I'm 23 years old and if there's something I miss about being a teenager I think is this feeling of "Ilussions". I mean when you are 13 or 16 you see somebody u like and you start to feel a little nervious, you feel this anxiety... something weird happens and you lose your mind. Well, now I think a little different, I don't have these kinds of feelings anymore. No more ilussions maybe and the point is that I really really miss 'em. Probably nobody was born 4 me... !!!!!!!

Well it's enough for today. NO song today

I like violence... lol

Two days ago I did something that really really loved to do it. I talked about all types of violences. I did a thorough investigation about this subject. I found very interesting highlights like violence against men, against children, verbal violence, etc., etc. I talked about these things in front of my French Class ( people that really really hate me, dunno why! probably, because I must admit it, I'm 100% better than any of ' em). Anymay, my professeur liked it and that's important 2 me. I felt very happy when she said that I did an amazing job!! The image you r seeing here is the once that I designed for that homework. Back to my reality, I'm still on diet ( and I'll be on it for at least 10 years). Meanwhile, dunno why yesterday and today have been very very tough days 4 me. As I've been mentionned many times I do my best to keep this mouth close and most of the times I do it well, but yesterday and today ..... I dunno what's going on ..... how does it feel to be thin, a slim guy like Zac Efron, I mean... I ain't his fan but he is cute and I know many people that would be glad to fuck with him. He is hot, rich and famous and I'm sure he is not 23 yet ! what rutten luck ! No many things to talk about today... and today's song is: Calling all angels, by Lenny Kravitz CALLING ALL ANGELS I NEED YOU NEAR TO THE GROUND I MISS YOU DEARLY CAN YOU HEAR ME ON YOUR CLOUD? ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO LOVE CALLING ALL ANGELS I NEED YOU NEAR TO THE GROUND I HAVE BEEN KNEELING AND PRAYING TO HEAR A SOUND ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO LOVE ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE ALL OF MY LIFE I´VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO LOVE DAY BY DAY THROUGH THE YEARS MAKE MY WAY

Well no more comments for today....

12 reasons gay marriage will ruin society.

These are 12 very well-known reasons to ban same-sex marriage. Yes, I'm still irritated for Mr. Steele's comments on Saturday. Here we go!

1. Homosexuality is not natural, much like eyeglasses, polyester, and birth control are not natural.

2. Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Infertile couples and old people cannot get legally married because the world needs more children.

3. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children because straight parents only raise straight children.

4. Straight marriage will be less meaningful, since Britney Spears’s 55-hour just-for-fun marriage was meaningful.

5. Heterosexual marriage has been around for a long time, and it hasn’t changed at all: women are property, Blacks can’t marry Whites, and divorce is illegal.

6. Gay marriage should be decided by the people, not the courts, because the majority-elected legislatures, not courts, have historically protected the rights of minorities.

7. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are always imposed on the entire country. That’s why we only have one religion in America.

8. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people makes you tall.

9. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage license.

10. Children can never succeed without both male and female role models at home. That’s why single parents are forbidden to raise children.

11. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society. Heterosexual marriage has been around for a long time, and we could never adapt to new social norms because we haven’t adapted to cars or longer lifespans.

12. Civil unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better, because a “separate but equal” institution is always constitutional. Separate schools for African-Americans worked just as well as separate marriages will for gays & lesbians.

I do not want to get obsessed with this issue, although if this affects me directly. I understand that Mr. Steele has the right to express his thoughts as any other citizen. While I support freedom of speech, I also believe that our politicians should be more sensitives, but they are not in our shoes (I'm sure a few of 'em are in our shoes, but they won't never accept it), so they basically don't give a damn.

Changing subjects, I'm still on diet and today I'll go to see my doctor (by the way, I don't know my Nutrician's name!!!, I'll ask her today for sure. It's just that I always call her "doctor") and she will tell me if I lost weight or not. This is the second week that I'm eating healthy food and I'm realizing that I like this thing of being on a diet. I'm more conscious and responsable of what I put in my mouth (damn ! Why I didn't thnik the same way on Thursday, when I met the handsome marine!¨)...

Well, no song for today, by the way, I'm listening right now Calling all angels by Lenin Kravitz.

"Gay marriage will burden small business!" are they nuts!?

When our politicians talk about Gay Marriage just get crazy. I can't believe they discrimate us like that. They think they have the right to decide for us. Below I'll copy and paste what Mr. Steele said a few hours ago about this subject: "Republicans can reach a broader base by recasting gay marriage as an issue that could dent pocketbooks as small businesses spend more on health care and other benefits", GOP Chairman Michael Steele said Saturday.

Steele said that was just an example of how the party can retool its message to appeal to young voters and minorities without sacrificing core conservative principles. Steele said he used the argument weeks ago while chatting on a flight with a college student who described herself as fiscally conservative but socially liberal on issues like gay marriage.

"Now all of a sudden I've got someone who wasn't a spouse before, that I had no responsibility for, who is now getting claimed as a spouse that I now have financial responsibility for," Steele told Republicans at the state convention in traditionally conservative Georgia. "So how do I pay for that? Who pays for that? You just cost me money."

As Steele talked about ways the party could position itself, he also poked fun at his previous pledge to give the GOP a "hip-hop makeover."

"You don't have to wear your pants cut down here or the big bling," he said, (big asshole!).

Vermont and Iowa have legalized gay marriage in recent weeks, and a Quinnipiac University poll released in April found that 57 percent of people questioned support civil unions that provide marriage-like rights. Although 55 percent said they opposed gay marriage, the poll indicated a shift toward more acceptance.

The chief of the Republican National Committee has been criticized by some social conservatives in recent weeks after GQ magazine quoted him as saying he opposed gay marriage but wasn't going to "beat people upside the head about it."Steele, a Catholic and former Maryland lieutenant governor, was elected chairman of the committee earlier this year and I hope he decide to go back home soon.

I heard in Norway this is easier. I've never been there but I wish !!! Don't get me wrong, I love America but I think it's disgusting and frustrating this situation. I sometimes feel like a hostage without the opportunity to love my guy with the same freedom as anybody else.
Anyway, life is hard and then we die.

Love, Gerry

Ps. By the way, still on diet ! Breeakfast: Chicken sandwich and a GrassKiller juice. GrassKiller juice is a mix of grapefruits, pinapple, prickly pear, lemmon, celery and parsley. Yuck! I hate it! but is so damned good. No song for today, I was thinking in Somewhere over the rainbow but hmmm hahahah nop ! leave Judy Garland alone!! she's a human!.

Me & the fuck*** antichoke !

God ! I can't believe it. To eat antichookes in order to lose weight is something nasty. My Nutrician believes in all the medical uses of antichokes and now I have to pour into my water antichoke extract herbal remedy. It's awful. Supposedly this beverage helps me to reduce weight keepin' away the anxiety for food. I must confess it, te really really helps!

Through this process something good happened to me yesterday. I tooked the bus downtown in my way to the mall and there I knew a nice fella (he's a marine!!!!!!!!! yes! first time with a marine!! yes! yes! yes!). hahahaha OMG! to make long story short, we went to my place and we had "some fun" many times ! hahahah. I swear I didn't planned it. I'm not a lucky guy in these kind of relationships and don't ask me how but .. it just happened. Plus he is a marine, damn! he's so damned good to me! I still cannot believe that I did it with a guy like him but I have several pics & videos to prove it !! lol

Today is a normal day (back to my reality, far away from my port), I tried to stay out and clean the house, it really works, I least I'm not drinking for almost a month. Nevertheless, it's tough to quit smoking. I know I'll stop smoking, I think I have really progressed a lot with the alcohol I used to say "In heaven there's not beer, that's why I drink mine here..." and for some unthinkable reason I did it. I stopped drinking. I heard those nicotine patches seem to work well, but I heard too it's kinda hard to keep em' lit. lol

Well, keeping my tradition alive, I'll talk today about this song: With a little help of my friends.
Fuck the lyrics are just great. The Beatles sang this song for the first time and then, several singers gave their voices to this hymn... two of my favourites versions are with Tina Turner and of couse, Joe Cocker. Here are the lyrics...

With a little help of my friends
by The Beatles.

What would you do if I sang out of tune,
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day,
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)

No, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I need somebody to love
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love.

Would you believe in a love at first sight
Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time
What do you see when you turn out the light
I can't tell you but I know it's mine,

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

Do you need anybody
I just need someone to love
Could it be anybody
I want somebody to love.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
With a little help from my friends

Well, here are the links to see the video, the first link is the Joe Cocker's version and the second link is the Tina Turner's version.

too much stress!

This morning my breakfast has been so simple but delicious, too. A sandwich with mayonaise, tomatoe, chicken and lettuce and grapefruit juice. I'm sure Gandhi had better breakfasts than mine. I was ckecking my last blog comment and I noticed that the only thing I do is to complaint about being on a diet. Probably is an easy way to let anger (and hunger) to go away. As I mentionned before, Amy has been a wonderful supporter in this process.

Yesterday I was smoking my daily cigarrette and listening Amy and I paid extreme attention to one song named Love is a losing game by Ms. Winehouse:

Love is a losing game.
by Amy Winehouse.

For you I was a flame
Love is a losing game
Five story fire as you came
Love is a losing game

Why do I wish I never played
Oh what a mess we made
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game

Played out by the band
Love is a losing hand
More than I could stand
Love is a losing hand

Self professed... profound
Till the chips were down
...know you're a gambling man
Love is a losing hand

Though I'm rather blind
Love is a fate resigned
Memories mar my mind
Love is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game

It's a sad song but deep, too. Other great singer is this Scottish girl.... I can't remember her name............ uhm!.. Duffy! yes, I'm begging you for mercy! hahah that's a masoquistic but nice song, too.
That's all for now, and here u'll see a picture of Amy and Duffy. By the way, I dunno why some people like to compare both singers. I think both are great.
